PROJECT

I have been making knives and other small forms of metal work for the last 3 years. I have been entirely self-taught, learning a lot from mistakes early on. This was a hobby that grew into a business through a lot of late nights, hard work, and passion. I've always emphasized reusing materials that other people no longer have a use for, such as files, leaf springs, and wood from local wood workers. The design process of knife-making is maintaining the balance between function, ergonomic comfort, and aesthetics. This translates well in architecture in the aspect that everything done to create the knife must be purposeful and intentional, whether it be the shape of the blade, the grind, or material selection.
